Terms of Service
Last updated: May 6, 2026
1. Service provided "as is"
Lunch Menu (the "Service") is provided free of charge on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of the Service or the menu data displayed on it.
2. Source of menu data
All menu data displayed on this Service is sourced from publicly accessible nutrition provider APIs operated by school districts and their food service vendors — primarily Nutrislice and LinqConnect. We aggregate and present this data; we do not author it, and we cannot guarantee its accuracy or timeliness.
3. Not affiliated with school districts
Lunch Menu is an independent reference tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any school, school district, school nutrition program, or meal-service provider. School and district names are used only to identify the source of the menu data.
4. Verify menu accuracy directly
Always confirm menus, ingredients, allergen content, and dietary information directly with the school's cafeteria or nutrition services department before relying on it for decisions involving allergies, religious dietary restrictions, or medical needs. Do not rely on this Service for safety-critical food decisions.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lunch Menu and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including but not limited to damages from inaccurate menu data, missing allergen disclosures, outdated nutrition information, or service interruptions.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to (a) attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service; (b) use it for any unlawful purpose; (c) misrepresent its content; or (d) interfere with the operation of the Service or any underlying provider APIs.
7. Changes
We may modify or discontinue the Service or these terms at any time without notice. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.
