Who this site is for

Lunch Menu is a free reference site that helps parents, caregivers, and guardians look up public school cafeteria menus. The audience is intended for adults — it is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Information we collect

We do not require accounts and we do not collect personally identifiable information from site visitors. The only data you might submit is a free-text menu correction or a school menu URL via our corrections form, which is reviewed and used solely to improve menu data.

Menu content itself comes from publicly published nutrition provider APIs (Nutrislice, LinqConnect) operated by school districts. We do not collect or display any student or staff information.

Cookies and advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertising on this site. Google and its partners may use cookies — including the DoubleClick DART cookie — to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. These cookies enable Google to show personalized advertising.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendor cookies via the Digital Advertising Alliance.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which pages are visited, from which countries, and on which devices. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual visitors. You can disable Google Analytics tracking in your browser using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Third parties

The third parties whose scripts run on this site are limited to Google (AdSense and Google Analytics 4). Menu images are served directly from school nutrition provider CDNs (e.g. Nutrislice). Those providers may set their own cookies when their assets load.

If you'd like a school removed from our index, or believe any data shown here is incorrect, please use our corrections form or email hello@lunchmenu.school.

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
